“I grew up on the singer-songwriters of the 60’s and 70’s largely from the Laurel Canyon music scene.. for a handful of years I rejected ‘my parents’ music but it wasn’t long before that music caught up with me and ultimately influenced music I would write. Writing songs for me is less so about showcasing any specific talent and more about an emotional release. It’s free therapy minus the production costs. I’m so grateful to have this tool to process how I’m feeling at certain times and that it ultimately can and is meant to be used to connect with others on a deeper level than words alone can achieve.”
